this might sound crazy, but beyond doing all of the typical ab stuff (crunches, leg lifts, pushups) i’ve found that if you flex your tummy muscles (like pulling inward and upward) throughout the day, holding it as long as you can, it can really make a big difference!  just whenever you think about it, start flexing! and keep your shoulders back while you’re at it to help with posture 🙂

I do about 20 minutes of abs almost every day & avoid bad carbs at night. It’s helped greatly over the last 6 months.

Do 1 minute of each, with 15 seconds rest & repeat 3 times in total. On the 3rd round I usually can only get about 30 seconds done!

(I suck with the names, I just do them!)

standard crunches
standard oblique crunches
v-sitting bicycles
trunk rotation
Scissor kicks 
Leg up & down crunch (gosh how helpful am I? sorry!) You lie flat on your back w/ your head on the mat, extend your legs up in the air & lower them almost to the ground…

I’ll ask my trainer tomorrow what all the names are!
