This is a quick follow-up to a long thread about Abigail Ava wedding (abigailavawedding.com).
I feel obligated to warn future brides to stay away from this second-hand wedding dress supplier: Abigail Ava Wedding (abigailavawedding.com).
Based on my experience as the buyer in the situation described in that thread, I believe this company does not operate honestly.
I was told several false claims about the dress which I purchased. I have also seen evidence that the original owner of the dress was rather cruelly manipulated into giving the company a discount on the dress, and very harshly treated when she found out and complained.
I’m not taking the time to post this because of any bitterness or loss on my part. Although the dress was misrepresented in some small ways, I still have a beautiful, treasured and authentic dress. But I have seen evidence of some spectacular lies told to the dress’s original owner, including some very cruel ones — for example, that her dress was ‘filthy’ and ‘disgusting’. So, I feel it’s my duty to warn others.
Thanks to her posting on this board, I was able to communicate with the original owner of the dress and help her get a partial refund, and I think we’re now both in a happy place. I’m thrilled with my dress and I can’t wait to wear it. Nevertheless I would advise others to stay away from Abigail Ava Wedding, because of the problems we experienced.

The above buyer was issued a refund for cleaning on the gown we sold and we do admit the gown was a bit dusty and was sent to her in this condition by accident. We have the emails and paypal statements to prove the refund was issued. She said numerous times she would post spiteful comments unless we issued a refund and then said she would not post as it was a mistake. She is clearly feeling the need to spite us, even though we did everything possible to correct our mistake. In addition, we did not manipulate anyone. We have rave reviews and have sold over 100 gowns to happy brides around the globe, we have been in business since late 2008. We are very small business run for women by women. To learn more about us please see our inquiries section AbigailAvaWedding.com. We wish you the best of luck with your wedding plans and your search for the perfect wedding dress.

I visited Abigail Ava’s personal home to try on a pre-owned dress she had advertised. I enjoyed working with her and found her to be warm and professional. I would be happy to talk with anyone about it.
I am the kind of bride who could benefit from a third party to help me find a dress, because they would know how to find things I can’t. If I had to pay a “finder’s fee,” then I would. It would be better than buying it new. In my view, if the seller is OK with the price, then does it matter who gets the dress? Probably someone like me! Abigail Ava came across to me as professional and — sincere.

I wonder why this still shows up first whenever someone googles my business’s name? I wonder if WeddingBee can give me some insight into this?

Sounds like something to contact google about not weddingbee.
I have a feeling the only good review on here since they only have 3 posts is a fake account.

Google’s algorithim is picking this page up first, that’s why. It has something to do with relevancy. More people googling “Abigail Ava Wedding” are clicking on this page than any other, and they stay on the page longer, so Google thinks it was a useful page and keeps it at the top of the list. Also other pages may be direct linking to this one, which lifts its standings as well.
That’s what I’ve heard it works anyway.

It was just brought to my attention that Abigail Ava is linked to user CZDLUTZ who is falsely claiming that she MADE and is SELLING my wedding dress! I have never even heard of these two and they have posted on multiple sights pictures from my wedding that they took from facebook (a little creepy if you ask me) and have also been using my name! A bride to be contacted me directly, after almost falling for this SCAM, which is how i was made aware of this! Take it from me, the pictures they post and the claims they make are false!! My dress was purchased from Bergdorfs and it is in my possession!! Here is the post http://classifieds.weddingbee.com/topic/sale-replica-of-monique-lhuillier-sunday-rose-gorgeous
