Oh honey. I’m so sorry to hear your boss is such a witch. I really hope something opens up and you can get away from her.

I know how you are feeling. I’m stuck in an admin assistant job that won’t acknowledge that my degree should technically be considered a paralegal one.  So, I’m making way less than I should be but I cannot find another job. Hugs!

Sometimes it takes moving to a new company to get the recognition, job title, and salary you deserve. I know that’s how it worked for me!

a lot of companies out there are in a bind because the economy is still struggling regardless of what the papers say so a lot of employees are losing a lot more than they need to.  Hang in there.  I’m a teacher and i’m stuck as well.  It’s hard nowadays to get marred and live the “american dream.”  Just take one thing at a time.  I’ve been planning my wedding for a really long time and honestly i’m happier for doing so.  dont rush if you dont have to.

@Artificial-Sweetener: I understand how you feel. I was supposed to be promoted and given more responsibility at work. They gave me the new responsibilities- a lot more work- let me start them and then told me that they changed their mind on the promotion, but I still needed to do the additional work. It is really demoralizing. I feel your pain. 🙁
