Why would they? Trade shows are for bartering anyway. : (1 votes)

I'd prefer they posted them because otherwise I feel like they're making the price up on the spot. : (3 votes)

I’ve been to one wedding tradeshow and hated it, although not bc of the lack of upfront pricing.

To be fair, most vendors I contacted did not have pricing up front on their website either, so it could be argued that they’re quoting me a random price too.

I know some places that may not get a lot of business name out prices and give deals at things like that. Also they try to one up everyone else… I was at.a place where this photographer was just given crazy low prices to get ppl to call him. But when my BFF called him he was given out something totally different.

I’m not a fan of no prices displayed (on websites or in person). That generally conveys that it’s either out of my price range, or that they may change prices based on whatever factors, and I don’t love that.

How annoying! I hate websites that do that too. From my experience, when they don’t list the price you don’t wanna know anyway. So those vendors do not get my business.
