I’ve been to a couple wedding trade shows and I’m a little baffled… I’ve never really been to a trade show before these and I’m trying to understand if it’s normal for vendors to post their prices, or if you’re supposed to barter at these shows (think vacation in Mexico…)
What do you bees think? I’m married now, but starting to go through the whole process with a friend of mine : )
EDIT: My friend and I are going to one in a couple weeks, and we got into a heated discussion about bartering haha

I’ve been to one wedding tradeshow and hated it, although not bc of the lack of upfront pricing.
To be fair, most vendors I contacted did not have pricing up front on their website either, so it could be argued that they’re quoting me a random price too.

I know some places that may not get a lot of business name out prices and give deals at things like that. Also they try to one up everyone else… I was at.a place where this photographer was just given crazy low prices to get ppl to call him. But when my BFF called him he was given out something totally different.

I’m not a fan of no prices displayed (on websites or in person). That generally conveys that it’s either out of my price range, or that they may change prices based on whatever factors, and I don’t love that.

How annoying! I hate websites that do that too. From my experience, when they don’t list the price you don’t wanna know anyway. So those vendors do not get my business.
