    Could you clarify if you mean like we’ve never had sex with our fiancees or rather we’re choosing at a certian time in the realtionship to stop sexual activity until the wedding?

    Definitely not. I believe in “test drive before you buy,” but I don’t look down on those who’ve chosen to wait, either.

    Hi!  I guess this is just a little off the wall…but…how do your friends know about your sex (or not sex) life?  I’ve never really spoken to anyone (other than the guy I’m with or my gyno) about my personal bedroom life.  It’s just weird to me?

    I’m also really surprised that anyone has been negative towards you about it.  I mean we personally didn’t wait, but that was a personal choice and so it waiting.

    side note: the only people that bug me with “waiting” is when they’ve done everything except the guy cuming while in the girl (including anal, insertion, the pull out method) and they still consider themselves pure and are hateful towards those who choose not to wait.  You do not seem to be one of those people ๐Ÿ™‚

    @SouthernTulip A lot of people discuss their sex life with their friends. Sometimes it’s a way of getting advice or even just a topic that comes up. I don’t think it’s weird at all, but if it’s something one didn’t want to discuss then I think a good friend would also back off the topic and respect the other person’s privacy.

    @misstiny I did not wait nor do I regret not having waited. I respect those who can and have and it’s a great thing to share with your future husband/wife, however I’m also a testdrive kind of girl, haha.

    @Statutory Grape: Word.

    I am also of the “try it before you buy it” persuasion. Its a personal decision, though, and props to you for waiting!

    @DoxieDoll I totally get talking to someone about it (a lot of my girlfriends talk to me about things) but I would just think that if their friends I would think they would be supportive no matter where their personal opinions lie.  So I guess that’s where I kind of got confused.  I just would think that friends wouldn’t be so hateful – so I was just thinking that maybe they were more along the acquaintances lines than the friend lines.  So that was what I was thinking.

    Either way, to the original OP your choices should be respected and I think we can all agree on that ๐Ÿ™‚
