@Trishthedish36:  Oh, wow, I love your dress! It’s beautiful and for some reason it doesn’t say ’70s’ at all to me. I love the 40s, and I agree with the PP, you could totally do a birdcage. Have you thought of just a subtle diamante headband, more from the 1920s (not like some huge thing Daisy Buchanan would wear, but a more simple version like http://pinterest.com/pin/25121710391200323/ or this http://pinterest.com/pin/398357529509970314/). That might also go well with it. Either way, you will look gorgeous!

Also, if you want to do something totally 40s, you could always do a fun ‘going away’ suit for when you leave the reception. It might be a fun way to get your vintage fix without having it take over your look for the whole wedding. I’ve always thought these suits from Stephanie James were pretty adorable http://www.stephaniejamescouture.com/

For the bra aspect you have a few choices if your not to busty you could do pasties or some sort of stick on cups or consider having cups sewn into the dress. Its gorgeous by the way and looks fantastic on you.

    Your dress is beautiful!

I as well am wearing a lace gown and am going for a vintage look. These are the earrings I bought on Etsy. They are from the 1950’s.
