i think that the silhouette of your dress is clean and simple enough, and the earrings/brooch also classic and simple enough that i don’t think it would be too much with the earrings/brooch and the shoes.  shoes with a wedding dress are actually very subtle because they’re hardly ever seen or only peek out a little bit, so i think you’ll look gorgeous! although i’m not sure what the size of the jewelry is from the pic, and there’s nothing like actually trying them all on together.

as for the veil, cathedral is beautiful and very dramatic, but perhaps the fingertip would go better with the style of your dress?  however, there’s really no wrong choice and either length would be lovely.

Love the pin and shoes, I think a finger tip veil would be prettier with your dress since there is already that sheer fabric trailing in the back.

I agree that the accessories are great, but I think the mantilla veil would be too much with that dress.  I also wanted a mantilla, but it was just too much going on with my lace dress.  I went with a chapel length drop/circle veil instead.  I think sometimes it’s tempting to get the fanciest/most noticeable of all categories of attire, but when you add it together it can be too much.  No harm in trying one on and taking photos, but I think you’d love the romanticism of a drop veil.  They seem plain at first but add a nice effect to a romantic gown.

I think no necklace is fine with that neckline!

I think it would look nicer w/o a necklace.

Try not to be too understated… it doesn’t look good either, it just looks dumpy rather than overdone…

This being said: I don’t know what kind of brooch you are planning to wear but it sounds to me like it has pearls… this dresss needs to have filigree jewels because they look elaborated but at the same time “light”.

Whethere to wear a necklace or not: it depends on your neck and how the dress looks on you. Personally I would keep the jewels away from the gown, so I would go with no brooch, yes to necklace, chandelier earrings and a headband (or a hair comb) with filigree details. I think that as long as the jewelry is in filigree it can also have some pearls if you like them.

The shoes look “off” with respect to the dress. It’s not the color, it’s the material they are made of but especially those lines that woud suit better a draped dress, or a more rigid one.

About the veil now: fingertip length would be awesome, especially if you wear it dropped on your face and if the veil has some embroidery. Another option is for you to have a long, 72′ (or more) wide gathered veil in Bridal illusion (it’s fluffy). I wold stay away from mantilla.

Hi.  I’m new here too but in the wedding fashion industry…I think they’re right…the dress is SO beautiful and has so much detail that it doesn’t need a necklace, However i wouldn’t say no to an earring or a bracelet.  I would say something delicate looking like the pieces here http://www.mariellonline.com/index.php/catalog/page/033/bridal-jewelry/  its all got an ivory flavor and simple enough not to take away from your dress.  Its your day girl, don’t forget to shine!

I think the Mantilla although a good match may take away from the dress.

PS LOVE the shoes..i say go for it!
