lightchaser :  i think the first hat is too much. I like the second hat with the first dress or the third hat with the 2nd dress 🙂

I love #2 & #3! I’m a big fascinator gal as well 🙂

LOVE this idea, and LOVE the look of it with your dress! The last one you posted on your first post was cute, but that other one you posted that you’d need to rush order has my heart. I’m a sucker for a birdcage.

Have you tried visiting local hat stores? They’ll definitely charge you more than $20 but you’ll have it time to figure out what hair it looks best with. Plus blush is a pretty popular color nowadays. You might not have to look hard for what you’re looking for.

My friend actually made a fascinator for her bride (she was a maid of honor). I wouldn’t recommend it if you aren’t super crafty but she said it was pretty easy once you figured out the base.

New idea: check Amazon! They have a bunch of fabulous stuff. Like this (but in blush of course) https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B011MQJLMI/ref=mp_s_a_1_51?ie=UTF8&qid=1472832499&sr=1-51&refinements=p_85%3A2470955011&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=pink%2Bfascinator%2Bhats&th=1&psc=1

lightchaser :  I LOVE IT!!!!!!

I always wanted a civil war style wedding because I have always loved Gone With The Wind and everything about the time period. But, when I married the first time, my mom said “none of your bridesmaids will want to dress like that”… so I didn’t have it. Well, I am paying this time and my daughter’s are my bridesmaids. So, we will be wearing large ballgowns, getting married at The Angel Oak park in Charleston, SC which has the oldest tree in America, east of the Mississippi.

Anyway, I plan to wear a large straw hat as well. Maybe not quite this big, but something similar.

Definitely the fascinator! I will be wearing one for the reception of our Derby Day wedding.

Ok, I love it! None of them really scream “bridal”, but if you don’t care I think you should go for it!
