So I saw an old fling’s name as a like on a mutual friends instagram photo. Curiousity took over so I started looking through his instagram. I accidentally liked one of his photos as I was scrolling and it was posted several weeks ago. I immediately unliked it, but I know it could still notify him that I liked it.
I’m so mortified because my instagram name is my first and last name so he’ll know it was me. I really hope he didn’t see the notification! It would be obvious that I was stalking his feed since the picture I liked was posted awhile ago.
Has anyone else done this?

@cafelatte: Oh man, this has always been a fear of mine. I’m scared to creep on anyone on FB or Instagram from my past because I don’t want this to happen. After I creep on FB, I always go to my Activity Log to make sure I didn’t accidentally click like on a status that I didn’t want too…

I’ve done worse…
After my first bf dumped me, I thought it would be cathartic to write out how I felt about him and missed him in a MySpace message, and then delete it. I accidentally sent him the message! I wanted to die. I then made up a story that my younger sister wanted to mess with me so she sent him a fake message from me. I’m pretty sure he wrote back something like “Oh…haha…okay!”

@cafelatte: After breaking up with my ex I was on my phone and I was looking at his brothers facebook (my ex didn’t have one) and I accidentally sent a friend request to his brother. I canceled the request asap but he had already received the notification. My ex called to ask why was I requesting his brother on facebook. Now if I decide to look at anyone from my past facebook – I do it from the computer so I know where my mouse is pointing at all times, lol.
