Hahahahah this is hilarious. But I had no idea you could see what other people are reading so that’s news to me! Hopefully everyone else is just as clueless

pussinboots07 :  Haha, that’s fantastic!

Years ago, I send my Darling Husband a somewhat risque pic of me in my underwear, while he was away for work.  Well the bloody einstein decided to put it as my caller ID picture, so it came up full screen when I was calling him.  I was not aware of this.

Well, he misplaced his phone at his mothers house so he asked me to call it.  It was right next to her so when it lit up, she got the pleasure of seeing this photo.  She said “Oh!” and kind of chucked the phone at me while we were both blushing.

Darling Husband copped an earful after that – and changed it.

Okay but we need details on the series such as author and title.

Nope but I totally found a well-read copy of 50 Shades in my mom’s nightstand once, which she tried to pass off as a loaner/suggestion from a friend. I really hope Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants doesn’t apply to erotic novels.

Not really risque but I let Mother-In-Law use my Amazon Prime account.

I had a “what if im pregnant” moment and couldn’t go to town to Walmart to buy a pregnancy test because I would run into SOMEONE I would know or my family would know, or knew my cousin or was friends with my dog… you catch my drift, lol. So I decided to order the test on Amazon, no biggie.

Mother-In-Law asks me literally last night “Hey can I use Prime for something for SIL she needs by Friday?” Yeah sure, gave her the password. Then I immediately think…. welp, she’s gonna be able to see my order history. LOL.

Its more or less just funny because she’s the Mother-In-Law who cannot wait to become a grandma, haha. I’m almost positive she saw that I ordered it, but she’s pretty polite and if she did, she didn’t ask me about the purchase.

pussinboots07 :

Oh, Bee. Stop apologizing for your choices.  Just enjoy.

The technology shit happens all the time.  I’m sure that, given a few minutes, we can all recall a few incidents of complete cyber mortification.  Yours barely makes a “2”.

That said, I’m sure it was horrifying in the moment.

If amazon can come up with a Private Wish List, what is so hard about creating a private Orders page? It would be for dh’s own good.

Just looked up the series… Kind of want to read them now, not gonna lie. Also, “Ice, Ice Babies” is a brilliant title.

So, quick confession: I read the occasional bodice-ripper myself as a pallette cleanser, if you will, after a particularly heavy-duty read. It’s mindless and quick and doesn’t require a major commitment. I call them fluff reads. Well, I’ve learned to be careful when/where I open my book app on my phone because the front cover pops up full screen if I just bookmark my page and then exit the app. For example, sitting next to my dad on a cross-country flight. #facepalm
