@jatelynn:  Excellent! Great motivations. I am thinking about starting the same thing…exercise, eating better, etc. I have to stop letting life and my ipad get in the way!

Good for you!!! you are doing Excellent!!! Keep at ‘er!

I am currently in the process of trying to lose 10lbs of baby weight.  I am eating 3 meals a day with a couple healthy snacks in between.  I am working in a camp and I will only be around a scale when I go home once a month.  I am here for another 3 weeks and I can’t wait to see my results when I get home 🙂

I’ll play! I write down and check off my workouts every week so I will post them here too. Today I did level one of 30 Day Shred. My goals this week are to do that workout 3x, a cardio HIIT workout 3x, and pilates for abs twice. I also work my calves to exhaustion 3x/week.

@jatelynn:  Good for you for starting this! Great idea. You can totally do this! It is so worth the effort to change your lifestyle.

@lilone4403:  I am losing baby weight too! Although I have about 15-20lbs to lose still. I love waiting to weigh myself too and seeing a bigger difference. Are you taking measurements too? I do a lot of weights so I find that to be more accurate than the scale sometimes. Great job–you can totally lose 10lbs!

@RampagingZeebs:  I am.  I am taking just the 3 measurements of my waist though.  I am the type of person that if I don’t see any results then I will just give up.  So I found that measuring myself will help too.  Because if I don’t see it in the scale there is a good possibility that I will see it somewhere in the measurements! 🙂

@jatelynn:  Good for you, working out through the pain of PMS! That was me yesterday – I had the worst cramps I think I’ve ever had in my life. It felt like my pelvic bones were being crushed. I took pain meds and used my electric heating pad for the entire day and could barely move. As soon as tehy abated a little bit, I went to kickboxing. Pushing through the discomfort felt good, even if I couldn’t move at my usual speed/agility. So proud of you! Keep us updated on your progress!

@jatelynn:  Honestly, just pushing yourself to get up and go probably did SO much for your body that you dont even realize. Half of the battle for me is willing myself to get going, and once I get going, I’m unstoppable. Part of forming good habits is just forcing yourself to keep going. I know you’re going to be successful!

Kickboxing is fun! I like group classes because its more motivating for me. I admire people that can get up and go jogging. I despise running with a fiery passion lol.

@jatelynn:  Way to push through!! PMS SUCKS. I have been doing good on workouts this week. Need to work harder on portion control! I really like 30 Day Shred. Someone else just started a thread about it; I posted on that one too. 🙂

Success with Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred??

@jatelynn:  Just keep doing what you’re doing! Seriously every little bit helps. If you only have 30 minutes in you, then do 30 minutes. And you do need rest days, so if you take a day off, don’t get dejected, just get motivated for tomorrow! I lost 30 pounds so far this year and my goal was working out 5 days a week, though some weeks its more like 3 or 4 days (or even 2). Life happens, but if you don’t let life happen every day then you will see some positive results!
