In 20 days, you could do some work on breakouts with a good (and I mean good) product, but for scarring, and while you’re there, for the breakouts, go to a dermatologist. I’ve seen what a peel or lasering can do, and it’s amazing and worth it. Or at least get a prescription to get it gone!

Let me know what the remedy for the breakouts are… as for the scars see if you can find a product called Bio Oil. It’s amazing, used for a scar on my arm for my sisers wedding…had a bad fall before my sisters wedding and left a bad scar on my arm….and it took it away… but if anyne knows what I can do for dry skin

Acne scars from cystic acne can linger for months, unless you want to take drastic steps like lasering and dermabrasion, you might get limited results in 20 days. However, there are few things you can try…first- broad spectrum sunblock on your face, very important especially now in the summer. Skin irritations like acne exposed to sun produce hyperpigmentation, making the scars darker, more noticable and harder to cover up with makeup. I have very acne prone skin and almost every sunscreen I’ve tried breaks me out, I like Clinique City Block SPF 25 sunscreen, it doesn’t clog my pore or causes more breakouts. Also, try lemon juice on scars everynight before bed. I’ve tried a gazillion fading creams and I’m still going back to this grandmother’s favorite. Put it on with a q-tip on scars, dilute with some water if it’s too strong at the beginning. I get a pure lemon juice in a plastic lemon bottle from the grocery.

For current acne, you’ll probably get lots of different recs. What works for one person may not work for another. However, after years of dealing with acne and trying variety of products both OTC and prescription, I can tell you what has helped me.

Try an Aztec clay mask, I swear by this stuff. It has almost completely cured my acne problems. Aztec clay can be bought in Vitamin Shopee, you mix it with organic apple cider vinegar, make a paste and cover your face with the mud. As mud dries, your skin will tingle and everything gets sucked out of your pores. I do the mask twice weekly and my skin is super soft and glowing. When I have a bad cystic pimple, I spot treat with the mud everynight and the pimple is gone in 3 days rather than 1-2 weeks. For face wash, I use Neutrogena acne-wash, yes it is a bit drying, but for those prone to breakouts it is one of the best. Moisturizer, Cinique dramatically different moisturing gel.

If you get a chance to go to the derm, Clindamycin solution or Cleocin-T, is a good topical antibiotic solution you apply to your skin daily to clear up bacteria. It helps and it’s not irritating or some other bees have had success with Witch Hazel toner.

I would stay away from strong acne medicine because they are irritating especially for a novice user, you might end up with peeling and redness, not something you want few days before your wedding.
