okay, so an early ceremony (12:00) and moving onto the wedding breakfast about 14:30.
I don’t want my day to end until 11pm and i also don’t want my guests to be bored.
Thinking of having a couple hours gap between the end of the breakfast and the evening reception.
I need activities, or something to keep my guests busy in the mean time, preferably in my venue.

Can you not just seve hors d’oeuves (spelling!!) and have some sort of entertaiment act. Theres also photo booths for the younger ones and if you have a grass area outside you could rent giant games to play with. If you have lot of kids id make sure there are activity books

That is a really long day. I wouldnt make a gap and just plan on it ending a little earlier, then maybe going to a bar with the guests your closest with? A change of scenary can help prevent boredom.
Also, are you serving a second meal later in the day. A wedding breakfast sounds amazing, but in that time frame I would expect to eat another meal, because I would get rather hungry.

@leecy87: there will be (won’t even attempt to spell it) canapes with cocktail hour. and am thinking about the photobooth idea very strongly!
@NinjaDuck: that is all really good idea, i think we may just end it early, and head out to our first night hotel bar with a few of N&D.
EDIT: there is also an evening buffet planned
@sweetaure: you stalk steal all you like 🙂
