Hi fellow Raleigh-ite!!!

I love Raleigh, grew up here since the age of 10.  😉  There are so many fun things to do in Raleigh and a lot of cool places to visit.  Hmmmm, museum comes to mind – oh this is guys, scratch that, lol.  And the shopping is great.  Ummm . . . sports bar?  There are tons.  Nope, no drinking you said.  Golf is great around here.  Tennis?  Putt-putt?  Are any of them into nature?  As you know there are tons of parks and hiking trails in Raleigh.  Pullen Park?  (If any of them have kids).

Send them to a movie?

If I asked my Fiance he would hands-down say stick with golf.  LOL.

We are setting up corn hole and other yard games for the guys to enjoy outside of our venue (we do have a farmhouse we’re renting for the wedding party so having a huge yard helps!) My Fiance and his friends are also obsessed with “disc golf” – which you’ll have to Google because I don’t know how to describe it. It’s a much cheaper alternative! If it rains, I’m afraid I don’t have many good suggestions…aside from the default of “video games!”

Our guys went to a classic barber shop together the morning of the wedding.

And once we got to the church for getting ready, they played cards (since we girls took longer than they did).

I know our photographer has said they’d had groups of guys go go-karting the morning of the wedding before.

Depending on where the wedding is, is there a Dave & Buster’s or GameWorks type place where you could buy them game cards with a few hours of unlimited time on there?

Just so you know golf= drinking. Lol the way it has been explained to me by people who like golf but don’t love it, ” it’s something to do inbetween beers” lol

What about paint ball?

@MsMindle:  Corn hole!  Great idea!  There’s a corn hole obsession around here right now, for some odd reason.

@imalittlebirdie:  That’s exactly how my Fiance describes golf, too, lol.

@Sunfire:  Oh, I am a huge corn hole fan. I didn’t even know what it was until about two years ago and now I can’t get enough! The guys don’t have to be ready until late afternoon, so they have the whole morning to putz around. I figured that having a little fun in the sun can’t hurt (well, it can, but that’s what SPF 50 is for)! 🙂
