i started treatment (acupuncture and chinese herbs) a month ago due to hormone imbalance. i’m on a three month plan to regulate my TSH/FSH levels. i hope it will work so we can get our BFP in the summer.

as OP I would also love to hear some success stories.

@KoiKove:  I was doing TCM and herbs for about 2 years.  Not very frequently but about once a month or so.  When Darling Husband and I decided that we would start trying soon I started going weekly and got my BFP at the end of December.  I am now just over 9 weeks and still doing acupuncture and herbs and feeling pretty good!  Good luck! 🙂

@KoiKove:  I know I’ve mentioned this before, but figured I’d add to this post.  While Acu & TCM didn’t get me to a BFP, my Naturopath said that there were 5 or 6 women who all started with her for fertility related treatment, and everyone but me was pregnant within about 4-5 months (when I stopped and moved on to an RE).  Granted, I don’t know anything about their situations, symptoms, or any other treatments they might have been doing.  But I did find her comment encouraging that Acu & TCM can be really helpful (and it did help my reproductive health, just didn’t produce a BFP) 🙂

@MerryC:  I went off the BCP and didn’t get AF for about a year.  I was then referred to a horrible fertility specialist who diagnosed me with PCOS (even tho i barely had any symptoms of it) and basically told me that if i wasn’t trying yet then to just go back on the pill and come back and see him when we were trying.  He also told me that because of my PCOS that I might not ever get pregnant and if I did, I would miscarry.  So my Darling Husband (who is also an acupuncturist and TCM dr) spoke to one of his old teachers who is a fertility specialist and I started seeing him about once a month just to get my body started.
