Has anyone had any experience reaching higher-ups at Adagio.com????
I am going thru a horrendous experience with their order processing and customer service
I placed an order for 200 tea tins on 3/17. My credit card was charged on 3/21. Today is 4/6 and UPS tracking shows that they have not received anything to deliver. Adagio only has online customer service and I have emailed countless times in the past 2+ weeks, found a phone number to a NJ office on yelp (that is automated) and left some voicemails, and even wrote on the facebook wall for someone to tell me what is going on. All of which has generally gone ignored. They did contact me about a week ago asking what flavors i had intended to order, then did not respond when i wrote back with the answer and asked what the hold up was and how to expedite things. Finally this weekend they contacted me again asking what flavors I wanted and explained it was glitch in their ordering system and that my order would ship on monday 4/4. I wrote right back and again got no response. Finally today, after still seeing no changes in tracking, no responses to all my attempts at reaching out, they wrote again and said that the order had accidently been placed hold and would go out today and arrive 4/6. Again, guess what, no change in shipment status. Each time I write them I ask for a reply and get none. They reach out whenever they want (but just barely!), without answering my questions or acknowledging my previous emails/concerns/suggestions. It is infuriating. I am so fed up after 3 weeks of this and its been stressing me out to no end. Whatever system hiccup they had there is no reason why no one was on top of communicating with me. I am at a complete loss as to what to do because they do not provide a means other than email to reach customer service, and they are not responding to me. I would say it is safe to say they are ignoring me because my sister started writing them, at first to ask about order placement, and they replied to her first general inquiry right away. Not so much after she asked about my situation.
I am extremely upset that they are carrying on a business in this fashion and was hoping someone had an idea about how to get thru to this company in particular or how they’ve dealt with similar situations. I am 30 days from my wedding and this unfortunately seems to be the time a few of my wedding vendors have decided to go MIA (just last week was dealing with an unresponsive bus company!) so I feel like I am going to flip out any day now. I know in the end I will be married, my friends and hubby will be there for me and that is all that matters….but then it just bothers me even more that this horrible company makes me want to cry on a daily basis over their inability to do their job. sorry…anyways would love to hear any potential strategies in dealing with adagio. thanks for listening
