I am hoping to get married at Adamson House in Malibu in 2014 but am concerned about having to rent all outside vendors (though at the same time, excited because I will get to personalize everything!) I was wondering if there are any past or future Adamson brides that could tell me the overall cost of renting vendors for this location–trying to make sure that I can do this with my budget.

@jafbride: actually, i have worked MANY weddings there. It’s a beautiful venue, but some things to think about:
-you must rent portable restrooms
-guests may not bring food/drink onto ANY of the tiles
-it can get cold at night
but personally, i think it’s an amazing venue!
Contemporary Catering (the one I work for) is the primary caterer there. send me a note for additional information.

Not really related to your question but curious – have you been able to book Adamson House for 2014? I’m looking at June of next year but apparently there are some state funding issues. Have you heard anything?
