I think the only thing the dress needs is to be altered to fit you. In particular, it’s sitting way too low on your body.

It’s just a stunning dress and suits you so well! It does need to be altered, but you likely already know that.

I think it would look amazing with sleeves, and they would make it a bit unique.

If you aren’t comfortable, I’d definitely see if they could add sleeves, especially if the train is that same gorgeous fabric, which it appears to be. Beautiful dress!

What kind of sleeves are you thinking? Do you have pics with examples you like?

Sleeves would look cute, as would a belt. I agree with the PP’s comments about alterations, although I am sure that is already on the cards.

I love it as is! I’d do alterations only. Beautiful dress. Looks like it’s made for you. I love this style and the classic, simple look!

Frankly, with alterations I think it will look pretty perfect. I wouldn’t add a thing to it!

I would definitely add a belt and an underskirt.  Also alterations for sure.  It’s too big and too low on your torso.

Belt and alterations. It’s beautiful without sleeves (although I’m sure it’ll be pretty with them too).

No sleeves no belt. It just needs to be altered, and maybe the straps shortened so it sits higher.

No belt vote here.

I think long flowing dresses get “broken up” by belts and it changes the integral design. I think belts suit a gown better where there is a discernable waist seam.

What type of sleeves were you thnking about? Cap? Flutter? Long? Fitted elbow?

If you think,as you say, would feel more comfortable wth sleeves then confirm that by making an appointment with an alternations expert and try some mock sleeves and see what you think. You want to feel your absolute best in your dress. It will show on the day and in the photos.
