@kmurphy13: “is something wrong with me?”

That´s exactly my thought today! My Davids Bridal dress arrived yesterday, and i was so happy. But this morning i woke up and felt so bad because again i was having second thoughts about the dress. It is the fourth dress already!

I know exactly what i do NOT want, but there are tons of dresses i love. I can´t decide on one style, and so far i have saved more than 200 photos on my computer, photos of dresses i would love to wear. I can´t stop thinking about wedding stuff and dresses and i even dream about it every night. It makes me sick!

I know exactly how you feel!

I ended up buying my dress almost a year and a half before our actual wedding. (We ended up having to postpone for a while.)

The dress was PERFECT for me and everyone said it was so me. And it was! But there are so many other beautiful dresses out there!!

You have to just stop looking at some point. Or realize that yes, there are a million other dresses out there that could be THE dress. But you already have one. Ok, two. 😉

It’s kind of like your fiance. There are a million other hot, wonderful, funny dudes out there but you picked him. And you stop looking.

(I almost bought another dress two months before my wedding and I’m so glad I stuck with my original choice.)

@kmurphy13: I have problems falling asleep almost every night for several weeks now. If it´s not the dress it is something else, but currently it is the dress again. While i am still awake I even have visions of dresses! And it is definately not dresses i have seen on photos, it is my own creation, the perfect dress for ME and noone else!! Strange, but these visions started immediately after we decided to get married during our vacation, but before i even started searching the internet for dresses. Unfortunately i can´t draw my visions, and then they are gone after some minutes

Right there with ya. I obsessed over dresses until I ordered one. Then I obsessed over dresses until THAT dress came in. Fortunately I love it after trying it on. Then recently I had the opportunity to pick out a free dress so of course I did that. Now I have 2 gorgeous gowns so what am I going to do you ask? WEAR BOTH!!! One is perfect for the ceremony and other is perfect for the reception.

You are just going to have to stop looking….cold turkey. Its the ONLY way you’re going to stop buying dresses. You can do it!

My dress was from David’s Bridal, the second dress I tried on… yet even after buying it, I still lusted over the expensive designer dresses that would never be… haha!

I bought my dress two weeks after getting engaged. I ‘just wanted to get some ideas’, and walked out of the store as a dress owner.  I thought I loved my dress, even though it was the opposite of what I wanted, and I was excited about it.

Fast forward a month, the dress is ready for me to pick it up.  It’s still beautiful, and it’s still the opposite of what I wanted, but now I’m not that excited about it anymore.

My dream dress is completely out of my price range, so I don’t even know what it would like on me. But I keep day dreaming about it.

I constantly look at my dress at home to reassure myself, b/c I’ll be damned if I go out and spend more money on a second dress while trying to keep a tight lid on the budget.  But I also find myself looking at everybody elses beautiful dresses on the Bee with tons of buyers remorse.  I used to love watching ‘say yes to the dress’ but now I can’t because it makes me sick to my stomach.

So, yeah, I hear you!

I guess the reason why it is so hard for me to decide on one dress is the fact that my favorite dresses are not available in my country. Consequently i do not have the possibility to try them on, which i think would definately help me choosing the perfect one. There are 5 or 6 dresses which i really like, and i wish i could order them and compare the fabrics and how they fit me. But shipping costs are crazy, so all i can do is look at their pictures 🙁

Actually it is ridiculous how i pressurize myself. My wedding is tiny, my parents are the only guests, and they don´t care what i wear. However, this is the only day in my whole life where i want to look adorable and perfect, i want something special and not the typical boring german bridal look

They are a bit more evil than chocolate..at least with choco you get that nice sugar high. With this..you get more broke lol. Um I admit..I bought one, sold it. Bought another one..not too sure about it..bought another one that I thought I loved but now I am not feelin it and yet another one cause I thought oh what the heck, right? What’s another one at this point? Lol. It’s bad. And I am just not sure about that one either and I am STILL looking around just in case. My fave designer must have changed like 3 times so far lol. Like I need to just give it up..I will prob wear one at reception and one at ceremony but Idk! Maybe I will play “pin the tail” on these dresses so to speak. Just blindfold myself and turn around a bunch of times..and grab at one..haha.

You are definitely not the only one feeling this way!  I thought I was the only person that was this crazy about wedding dresses.  I already bought one dress…almost bought another,..now I am currently obsessed with another.  I just want it to be sooo perfect on that day!  I just don’t know what to do…spend more money and get my dream dress or just be happy with what I have??
