Hello all!! This is my 1st post. I’ve been married for 2 years now. My husband proposed with a half carat emerald cut solitaire in a cathedral setting. At the time, I was extremely happy. It was perfect. However, overtime I started getting more familiar with other settings and whatnot. I’ve seen pictures of halos on a plain shank and fell in love! He agreed we can add a halo. Now to the question lol. Have any of you added a halo to your ring before? Did you get it done at a jeweler in person or send it in to a jeweler on line? If you took the online route, can you provide info and how you felt about the process? Likes, dislikes, etc. Thank you! And of course, pics are always welcomed

I don’t think you can just add a halo to a setting. You probably want to just get a new setting and have your stone reset.

This is my first post too! In January, I got a wrap that totally changed the look of my solitaire. It was an unplanned purchase – after I got it, I discovered this board and have been reading and learning since then. Maybe they make the same thing for an emerald cut solitaire?
LOL, I apologize if the pics don’t load correctly!

Your wrap is so pretty!! That makes the entire ring look so completely different! It’s kind of fun to have two rings in one.

oooooh! This is gorgeous. Thing is, I already have an enhancer. I liked the symmetry it provided.
