    I like the white gold better, but I tend to like more streamlined looks generally. 

    The different texture, color, and width of the rose gold one would seem a bit too much contrasted with your current set, especially given the iolite.

    I voted for whote gold ,I’m not sure rose gold would compliment thr color of your stone.  But i do think yellow gold would look nice 🙂

    I think that because of the purple color of your stone, rose gold would clash a bit. I agree with PP that the contrast in textures should be enough. It will be gorgeous!

    pinkcorsage:  rose gold.  I completely disagree that the rose would clash with your stone.  Rose gold looks great with blue/purple stones.  Good luck with your decision!

    have you googled rose gold and iolite? google images has lots of pics showing blue and purple stones set in RG. Above should be a link to one made by Gemara which might give you a better idea of how the two colours will look together. 

    I myself prefer same metal sets so I would vote WG but that’s just me 🙂
