Cups sewn into the dress were a great idea. I had bought one of those awful corsets and my awesome alterations lady told me about using the cups instead. So much more comfortable and taking that awful bra out from under the dress made me look skinnier too!! I was very comfortable.

I am a 32 B so I have a tiny chest! without the cups i dont look proportionate! I have hips that are 39 inches around.  SO as you can tell the cups help to balance my figure

I just had my first fitting and i’m having padded cups sewn in at the same time has having the chest taken in as it’s too big – well, it’s too big all over but mainly at the top, damn it 😉

Reviving this thread because I’m curious…

My seamstress did not recommend I sew in cups and instead go with molded gel cups, so I was surprised that so many here go with the sewn-in-cups route.

Did anyone go with molded cups instead of sewn in cups and how was your experience???

    thanks!
