So I recently picked out my wedding ring- its antique and very unique and I love it! I have a simple 1/4c princess cut kite set/ on-point solitaire as my ering and the more I look at it the more I think its missing something. My wedding ring resembles a bow so I had the brilliant idea to have my ering mimic this to make them more coherent. Problem is Fiance doesn’t want me to get a whole new setting for my ering. So I started looking at wraps/enhancers but can’t find anything that’s exactly what I want. Second problem is since we already bought the wedding ring we have a limited budget to make this all happen- $275. All I want is 1 small round diamond on either side of my princess diamond. So it would sort of be like a 3 stone ring. Question is- does anyone know if it is possible to add stones to an existing ring? I was thinking maybe that would be the easiest/cheapest route. Just have a jeweler add a round prong set diamond directly to my ering band on either side? Any other ideas?
