Tell the photographer to make sure the top of your dress is visible in all your pics since you’re paranoid about looking naked.

Im adding a one-shoulder to a strapless slight sweetheart:

what you see in the picture is just a belt – the actual strap will be made of the same material as the dress. It cost 50 dollars to get the extra fabric.

@MrsLulu:  Why don’t you buy a jacket to go over your shoulders/arms?  Some bridal jackets are really beautiful and look like they’re part of the dress!

I did and I like it.  Davids Bridal used different kind of straps (they already had) but the same color of my dress.
