Hey everyone!
I am thinking about adding straps to my wedding dress and I just wanted comments on how you think this would look.
Here is my dress:

I mostly have a problem with my back and being self conscious about it. So here are the straps I would like to add from the back view:

Obviously the straps would be white to match the dress and they would attach to the dress where the back begins rather than overlapping the back…any thoughts?

I think you would need to add some sort of sash to cover the seam.

@asscherlover: I would have the straps attach underneath the back of the dress rather than over the top. I can’t add a sash because of all the detailing in the front. Would that look ok?

I think it will look great. In fact, I think it will make your dress look even more romantic than it already does. Hope you’ll post after pictures!

@eocenia: thanks! I love the straps a lot, and I went into dress buying convinced that I would never buy a strapless, and then I did lol. I am hoping the straps will make it a little “softer” and more elegant

@jodes003: I just love that you’re adding straps as I’m on this quest for a dress that’s not strapless! I want cap sleeves, and it’s so difficult! Nice that there are a few other soles out there that doesn’t want bare shoulders and backs! 🙂
