I don’t have any pics (the store wouldn’t allow them-sad face for them), and I am waiting on my lovely lady to come in. But I LOVED the cathedral veil with Adorae. It was just plain, and light and gorgeous!

That’s ultimately not what I’m going with because I really want to try to wear my veil for most of the reception. So I think I’m going with single tier (a little longer than fingertip) with minimally scattered rhinestones throughout.

@katieebee: Ha ha. How’s the planning going? Did you get a date yet? I will be flying in to Houston in a couple of months. I tried the Adorea dress but I didn’t go with it. I just got my dress last week. I know I know, they said to get it 8-9months in advance but I didn’t ๐Ÿ™

Hi! I don’t have any pictures yet but I looooved the cathedral length veil…just a plain, sheer one. It looks amazing with my Adorae dress! ๐Ÿ™‚ I have been looking into all different prices with the cathedrals…but I agree lots of types of veils look awesome with the dress! ๐Ÿ™‚

I also purchased the Adorae!  I don’t have pics yet, I’m waiting for my dress to get in.  But, I did try it on with a cathedral veil!  I loved it!  The veil has crystals around the edging Smile

I’m an Adorae bride and I’m doing a birdcage veil with a snappy little rhinestone and feather brooch, which I ADORE.  I initially was leaning towards an elbow length veil with a flat satin binding, but wanted to give it a little punch so birdcage it is. Adorae is quite a dramatic gown and I think the birdcage veil really makes a statement.  I did really like it with the elbow length veil, too, though!  I’m not sure you can go wrong with any of them.

No pics yet, but I ended up purchasing a plain cathedral veil (it said cascading cut, but I don’t speak veil language. Pretty though :)). I agree the Adorae would work with any veil. I am in love with that dress!

I tried a fingertip veil on in the bridal salon. It had the most gorgeous light silver embroidered lace-like design around the edges. I was in love, but at $800 I passed ๐Ÿ™‚

I ended up getting the cathedral veil from etsy for $29.99 – love etsy. I may try to hunt down some very light silver/ metallic like lace for the edges. I thought it may play off the beading under the bust.

Lately, I’ve been seeing really poufy veils that are gorgeous. If the cathedral doesn’t work out then I may go this route. Indecisive me  . . .

Hey Adorae brides!!

I recently purchased my dress, my wedding isn’t until May but the store had a sample in my size that had only been in for one week so it’s hanging in my closet!!  I’m considering this veil…

I would swap the veil out for a hairpiece at the reception.  For jewelry, I’m thinking blinging earrings/bracelet, no necklace.

opinions?
