I think they are great, and it’s nice to have something a little harder to ground the soft floaty dresses. I would just put socks over them so you can break them in and get used to them without getting them dirty

They’re gorgeous and I think they are definitely bridal! However they do look extremely high, but if you are comfortable in that heel height for long periods then I say go for it.

They’re gorgeous, and not “too sexy” for wedding shoes at all. However, I would worry about them being hard to walk in, especially since it sounds like you don’t usually have problems. You won’t be able to see your feet the day of and will have lots of fabric all around you. I wouldn’t wear shoes you can’t walk confidently in.

I also bought my shoes first!! People thought I was crazy haha.

Anyways, I think they’re great! They are little high but you can wear them around the house to get used to them. Plus, you said you’re used to walking in 4-5inch heels so I think you’ll get used to the platform. They definitely aren’t too sexy! Is there such a thing as “too sexy” shoes? Lol. I might think differently if they were like clear acrylic stipper heels, but these are amazing.

I’m unlike most bees in that I prefer less overtly sexual shoes on the bride as I don’t see them as formal enough for the occasion.

This is often the most formal moment in the bride and groom’s life. It’s a very important event and should be taken seriously by them. So I would prefer formal shoes on them (regardless of what their guests are wearing). These are usually more conservative high heels than I see most bee brides posting.

Think of what shoes you might wear to be coronated as the queen of a country, and how these would be different than if you were to striptease for your Fiance. I would wear the coronation ones to the wedding and save the striptease ones for the honeymoon.

I love those!  I fell hard for the Valentino bow shoes but when I tried them with my dress, they didn’t look right.  I ended up getting a pair of gold Jimmy Choos.  With such a soft, feminine dress, the uber-girly bow shoes were too much.  Those shoes will be perfect (as long as you can walk in them.)

thing is, as much as we bees tend to obsess about shoes…with a long gown nobody can actually see them.

my only issue is if you are going to be unsteady on your wedding day. if you can learn to walk in them without toppling over then go for it. but nothing says ‘wedding fail’ like a bride crashing to the floor like a freshly cut tree in the forest hahaha

the advantage is that ivory/white shoes tend to be harder to wear in the future.

one other potential problem, is if your dress is fitted to these shoes…if at some point you want to wear flatter shoes then the dress is going to come up to short. thats the main advantage of choosing slightly lower heel. so you need to be 100% sure that theyre not just comfortable in the house…but comfortable for the entire night. to walk, dance and stand in

edit…. no it wont. im an idiot. too LONG hahaha

I think they are stunning and you should rock them all night long! I’m looking at getting a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes for my wedding, and I’ve been told they are among some of the most comfortable shoes made if that helps any.

You basically can’t go wrong with high heels (unless your FH wants you to be short…) I don’t really see shoes as something that can be too sexy by themselves. (Unless we’re talking like… clear acrylic stripper shoes, I guess.) They need sexy clothes with them to make them overtly sexy, like daisy dukes and a fishnet top or something, so really a soft, feminine dress would be perfect, since it would bring them to just the right look. 😀

Love the shoes!!  They are gorgeous.  I couldn’t rock them (struggling to break in my 3.5-ish inch heels).  Not too sexy, either.  They don’t look like a stripper shoe at all (they’re Jmmy Choos!).  Just work on breaking them in!.

I’m of the opinion that the only way that shoes can be too sexy is if there are dirty pictures printed on them.

Now, are those going to be comfortable? My guess is no, but only you can make the decision of whether or not that’s a dealbreaker for you.

I dont think it would matter even if they were “too sexy” because theyre going to be hidden under your dress anways, and no one will see them except you when you put them on.

Those shoes aren’t too sexy. . . they’re gorgeoous! Just make sure you break them in and practice walking in those bad boys!
