We got our save the dates in and i want to send them out! I know addressing Save-The-Date Cards can be more informal than invitations, but i’m wondering on if its appropriate to do labels rather than handwritten? I have really awful handwriting and definintely dont want to pay to have it done. Any suggestions?

Instead of labels, print directly onto the envelope in the font of your choice.

It depends a lot on the formality of your event! The more formal you are with the STDs/Invites, the more formal tone you’ll set. 🙂

I’ll second the printing directly on the envelope also. This way you get the nice font without spending more money for the label. 🙂

We printed labels for our Save the Dates and then made wrap around labels for our invitations. Most people just throw away the envelope right away anyway!

I always worry about the appearance of my writing! So once I saw someone recommend downloading a font from dafont.com and then using it print onto envelopes that was MAGIC!!!
I mean they have fonts that look like handwriting! So its classy! =]
So happy with the way they turned out and so inspired to use it for my wedding invites! Best of Luck!
