so, not sure what the deal is…Ive found a few peepee stains in our bedroom. Not sure when it happens
We usually keep all the doors shut to the bedrooms when we go to work, bc we dont want her making mistakes in there, bc she just doesnt in general.
But recently, Darling Husband was like…oh let her stay in our room while we are at work, and i look down and there is pee pee stains.
i googled…and well 1 of two things. 1) UTI ( i doubt bc her behavior has not changed) or 2) separation anxiety (say it aint so).
Sooooo, wondering if anyone has this problem. She is an adult dog, that doesnt have any housebreaking issues except this!! I wish I could catch her in the act to scold her, but it doesnt seem I am there when it happens…OR it may be happening when we sleep. Eeeeek, help.

Maybe you should try cleaning the carpet in your bedroom with “Nature’s Miracle”. You can get it at most pet stores. I bought a carpet cleaner and mixed it in with the solution and it seemed to help my dog from pee peeing on the floor as much because she couldn’t smell her own pee since that solution breaks down the urine enzyme.
I bet she does have separation anxiety – maybe get her some new toys to chew with – and when you leave in the morning – try not to make a big deal (I always used to say “Bye girls! Mommy loves you!” but I don’t anymore because one of my dogs gets really anxious and tries to chew up everything in sight if she knows I am leaving – so just try to creep out the door if you can.
If not – I would look on some pet forums and ask your question and see what they say. There are some great ones online with great advice! Good luck!

It’s a bit more random, but my dog used to have seizures and he would use the bathroom when they were happening even though he was house trained. I would try Nature’s Miracle and if that doesn’t work, consider taking him to the vet.
