I don’t like explicit costumes, but in general Halloween dress-up is fun… I just rarely have the money or time to prticipate in it.

I loathe sexy halloween costumes. Seriously, there is NOTHING sexy about Freddy Kruger. He was a horror movie pedophile. Not something to dress up sexy as! I saw it in one of the local party stores! I am all for having fun and dressing up but it sucks being a woman because none of the costumes for sale are anywhere close to appropriate for me. It gets even better because I live in a college town and so everyone’s costume is how little clothing they can get away with without getting arrested for indecent exsposure. No sweeite, an ace bandage around your boobs does not count as clothing.

I don’t really like Halloween much but I do usually dress up anyway if we go anywhere. I usually pick a funny or cute/mildly sexy (read: not underwear) costume.

I don’t like store bought or rented costumes.  I think Halloween is about creativity.  My favorites are those that you put together yourself (even if the idea is from the internet).  Last year, although not the most creative, was a figure of speech, “Raining Cats and Dogs”.  I had fun driving from Goodwill to Goodwill seeking little stuffed animals to create my costume.  Yes, I’m lame.  lol

@melisslp: THAT IS AMAZING. I really want to steal it but then I would feel bad because I wasn’t a creative genius.

I hardly ever dress up for Halloween… every once in a blue moon when I do (it happens like once every 5 or 6 years), I have an Marilyn Monroe costume (you know, the iconic white dress) that sits in the back of my closet…that’s my go-to Halloween costume. I like it because it’s not too slutty but it’s still cute. I curl my hair, draw a mole on my cheek with some eyeliner, and it’s done. But most years, no costume for me!

I love Halloween!  I used to make my own costumes, but have bought some in the last few years becasue I don’t have as much time.  I never did couples costumes before meeting my husband, but now I love them 🙂

I love Halloween but hate the Slutty costumes. I rather have funny or creative costumes then lets see how little clothing we can wear without being arrested.

I love Halloween and I like adult costumes if they’re funny and/or creative.

Not gonna lie, when I see adult women (>25) wearing the cheesy storebought “sexy” cop/nurse/french maid/schoolgirl costumes, I judge them and think they must not get out much.

@chasesgirl:  Thanks lady!  I give you permission to borrow it since I found it on the internet to begin with.  lol

@Mrs_Amanda:  Thanks!  It was quite cheap.  I bought an umbrella, a rain coat, and string (for rain) at the dollar store, found stuffed animals at Goodwill, and wore some rain boots.  It was super easy to put together too!

It’s my favorite holiday. This year SO and I are going to be lil Red and the big bad wolf! Lol My costume is a little sexy but much more on the cute side.
