I seen this on etsy and I absolutly love them! I’m thinking about buying the template and having the local print shop print them out for us, so the quality will be better than printing them myself. The print shop gave me a quote for .50 per 5×7 copy. My fiance and I are planning for 350 people at our reception, so that would be $175! I was thinking about only printing off around 250 copies because we will have quite a few children attending. What could we do to ask only certain ages to complete these without sounding rude. I just don’t see buying all 350 of them and having kids ages 2-10 color on them and not know how to fill them out 🙂 Any suggestions?

If you’re having assigned seating, I would skip putting them at the kids place settings, or do something like a colouring page for the kids (just print them off at home) so they get something to work on too and won’t feel left out.

@bakerella: I was going to suggest the same thing! Good idea.
If you don’t want them at the tables.. maybe you could do a basket that said “game for adults” and have the madlib in there, and another basket that said “games for the kiddies” and have some colouring pages, etc.

Were having the best man draw us custom colouring books with the ideas his daughters give him. Its a way also to incorporate the girls that arent flower girls. Two birds with one stone.

Really cute! Maybe put these with the name cards, and have something else for the kids- you could have a coloring book, or print a similar version from your home printer (the kids won’t notice a quality difference)- “My name is/ I came to the wedding with/ My favorite part of the wedding is/ when I grow up and get married, I’d want to…/ To be a good wife, you should…/to be a good husband, you should…” Maybe a place for them to draw a picture of the bride & groom?
You could get some really funny responses from the kids!

Thank you for the suggestions!! I’m not having signed seating, but I really like the basket idea!

Everyone else has given great ideas. I just thought I’d suggest you glance at Vistaprint.com. You can upload your own template/image for just about anything (save the dates, invites, etc.) and since they are always having crazy sales, you could probably print 350 of these super cheap. Last I checked they do have a couple of paper options if you wanted them printed on something sturdy or nice. Just a thought.
Awesome idea, I can imagine it will be so fun to read these after the wedding!

@Luv2BeachIt: Vista print has been amazing for us (non wedding related). Ps there waterproof banners are awsome even on a cold ski hill.

@FutureMsVW: GREAT idea with the baskets! Perfect 🙂

1) These are SO cute!
2) DO NOT pay $175 for these. I did a quick quote at Catprint.com for you, and they’d be ~$75. Vistaprint with a coupon would probably be even cheaper. I can vouch for Catprint’s quality — we used this for both our save-the-dates and our RSVPs, and they came out great!

@ Jody23 and village skeptic, thank you so much for the other options for getting these printed! I hadn’t even thought of online print shops, I asked the etsy seller what she recommened; do it myself on home computer or something else and she said she takes all her stuff to her hometown print shop. Thanks again!
