For our wedding we are planning on having my 9 year old sister as a flower girl and I was thinking of having my younger brother (he’s 19) as our “ring bearer.”
What I am not sure about is what he sould do when he gets to the end of the aisle? Does he give them to the Best man? Or does he stand up there and present them at the approprate time? And if so, which side should he stand on?

I think this would be awkward somehow. Though the thought of your brother being involved is lovely. He could be sitting in the front row with your family and when the officiant asks for the rings your brother could stand up and present them to the groom.

You can incorporate it however you want. Typically a young child ring bearer will just carry a pillow down the aisle with out rings attached and just stand there because no one trusts a small child enough with expensive rings to not lose them. I think it would be a good idea for an adult ring bearer to present the rings to you at the exchange instead of him standing there, it will give his presence in the wedding party purpose. I would not use a pillow it may seem to childish, maybe just separate ring boxes. I might see if there is a more grown up title you could give him instead of “ring bearer” that is equivalent to the title.
