I’m dealing with a horrendous Etsy vendor right now, and it’s making me rage.  I can sympathize!!!

I am dealing with a crappy e-bay seller. Ordered stuff for favors over a month ago and they tell me that they are set to be sent out April 11th. WTF??

I just don’t get it… in this day and age where there’s a zillion options, why wouldn’t people give just a little more of a shit when it comes to fulfilling orders?

My etsy vendor is lying her face off to me over my convertible bridesmaids dresses.  She claims they’ve shipped but doesn’t have a tracking number, then oops! they’re still stuck in customs, not sure whats happening now, don’t worry, blah blah.  She keeps saying “I’m so busy, so many orders!!” but I respond that I don’t care, she won’t be busy with orders if she has unhappy customers.  These were supposed to deliver on February 19th.  Considering this is March 16th, I am BEYOND bored with her excuses.  I’m not in full-panic mode yet but the jerk around she’s been giving me is making me want to buy a plane ticket to Asia so I can personally tell her my thoughts.

@MrsNeutrino:  Tons, except my money is tied up with her.  It’s past the 45 day window for paypal, of course.  I’m half tempted to tell my girls to just pick a grey dress and somehow figure out how to get my money from this woman.

^THIS!^ I can’t believe vendors get away with this crap.

There was no delay in the money being taken out of our accounts though, was there?

@MrsNeutrino:  We ordered the boxes for you and we are fulfilling your order in time as requested on your order. As customer service reminded you, you did not select a rush option for this order. Can you give us a reasonable amount of time to fill your order, please?  Many of our suppliers are on the opposite coast and shipping time to us is a week, then we have to turn around and re-ship to you. Often, our suppliers take a couple of days before they ship to us.  This is why standard delivery for many items on our site is 2-3 weeks.  We manufacture most of our own apparel, so we can turn that around very quickly, but many items have to be ordered for each customer.

We understand that planning a wedding is a stressful time, but if you allow plenty of time for all of your orders, things go very smoothly for the most part. If you want things quickly, pay for rush service to speed things up, but don’t bash vendors when you tell them “no rush” and then don’t have your items as quick as lightning.

Your post is unfair to us, and is in fact defamatory.  We have requested that admin remove it.

@AdvantageBridal:  Actually, if Im reading this right, if she paid for a rush order, you couldnt even send it to her rush, right? Because you dont even have the pruduct now anyway. At least thats what was posted. Just trying to understand.

@KristenGotMarried:  Kristen, we do care about our customers, very much so.  If not for our brides, we wouldn’t have been in business for 20 years as of February 1st.  We care so much, in fact, that six years ago we started designing and producing our own rhinestone-embellished bridal apparel because the quality of our suppliers had gone downhill and we just couldn’t send poorly-made and carelessly embellished apparel to our brides.  Our apparel is decorated at our facility in Torrance, by hand, and inspected three times before shipping to our brides.  We pride ourselves on offering a high degree of customization for each of our garments and we love personalizing our apparel and fulfilling special requests.   Our prices are the same or lower, and we offer more garment colors, with your choice of any of our crystal colors—something our competitors don’t offer with their mass-produced items.

@Earlybride:  For rush orders, we would either upgrade the shipping to us and the shipping to her, or we would pay the supplier a fee to ship directly to her.

@AdvantageBridal:  I found a few of the same items you sell on the knot wedding shop for several dollars cheaper.  To pay rush order fees for an item that you can’t even receive yourself within a week is ridiculous, and to claim that she’ll still receive her items by JULY is asinine. Maybe she needs her items for an event before the wedding… you know, bridal shower, bachelorette party, etc.  These are things that commonly happen before the wedding, and no bride wants to be haggling with a company til the day before their wedding!  You certainly haven’t won my business by replying on this thread.

ETA: Asking admin to remove someone’s honest opinion of your company tells me a LOT about your business practice.
