Word of mouth through other relatives, mostly. We did not initiate the conversation, however. If anyone asked us directly where we were registered, we told them (of course), but if they asked another family member, we just had them relay the info.

We will also put the registry information on our website.

For showers it is fine for the host to put that information on the invitation.

Most people will tell you you are not supposed to have the registry information on your invite (although that “rule” appears to bend according to region).

We put ours on our website and then the website was listed on the Save-The-Date Cards and the invite. And word of mouth.

I know it’s bad etiquette to put it as an enclosure on the wedding invitation. But I’ve gotten invitations with the registry info included and was happy they did because it just made it more convenient for me. I get that by including it is like saying you expect a gift, but seriously, who goes to a wedding and does not bring a gift? My friend just got married she didn’t put registry info in her invites and I got a bunch of phone calls asking where she was register. So I might include them in my invites. Not sure just yet.

Unless you are registered at some really weird place most people can figure out they should check target/bed bath & beyond/macys etc and find you. You can also put it on your website and have your mom/bms spread the word.

We had a link on our website, but mostly our moms, the aunt that hosted my shower and wedding party spread the word.
