Hi bee’s!!
Please tell me, what do you guys think of an intimate morning wedding, rather than a big party evening bash…?
Hi bee’s!!
Please tell me, what do you guys think of an intimate morning wedding, rather than a big party evening bash…?
That sounds like a nice idea and a great way to make your wedding unique while saving money π
I like the idea of a morning wedding, depending on a few things. For instance, I ruled it out because no matter where Fiance and me have our wedding the majority of attendants will be from out of town (and 3-10 hours out of town)- so we feel the least we can do is give them a Saturday evening wedding so that they can have travel before/after and a meal while they are there.
But, if most of your attendants will be in town I think it would be lovely π
I think both have pros and cons.
If you want a smaller wedding and won’t miss all the dancing/partying then a morning wedding is great π
I voted both, because I think it’d depend on a few things…
Where are most of your guests coming form, and how big do you want it.
I have never been to a morning wedding before, but to me just thinking about it, personally, it would seem strange…But I LOVE breakfast/brunch, so if you did it somewhere really nice and put on a really special meal, I think I’d love it! Very unique, and could be lovely, intimate, and enjoyable. But I think it’d be very relaxed, definitely not a party atmosphere, and would probably not last long.
The Big bash, that’s standard right, so I think more expected, more party feel, but more average…
I think people always think that they are SUPPOSED to have the evening wedding. And people forget that you can really do it at ANY time that you want!!
I have been to 1 mroning wedding and it was SO fun and it was bascially made into an all day event for some.
I say do it!!! π
@MeganTacky2247: The morning wedding you went to, what type of venue did they have it at?
Wow! That realy helped me look at things in a few new perspectives. all and all, the venue is fantastic. It’s situated next to a giant waterfall with a wooden deck looking out on it. The inside of the place is gorgeous!!! Here’s the place to view http://kuzuri.co.za/functions.html and the owner is so sweet! She’s like a total wedding planning genious!
Hell yeah on making it an all day event MeganTacky2247! My quote includes the venue, waiters etc for the entire day…. might as well make good use of it right?
So yes, although most of my guests are from out of town, they can still stay as long as they like…. Lucky our families can sit and chat over drinks for hours so there’s no worry about the event not lasting long.
If done right, I think I can pull off the perfect morning-afternoon wedding. Can’t wait to get married so I get to post pics!! π Thanx Bee’s xxxxxxx
The most memorable wedding I have been to was a morning brunch wedding with mimosas. It was classy and fun!
I think a morning wedding would be fun! I would just make sure to take travel considerations into mind for any far away guests.
