Tell him the honeymoon is just for the two of you and is a one-time deal (sure you can have future vacations, but you only really get one honeymoon).  Ask him if he really wants to spend that time with his family so close and feeling obligated to do reunion events instead of staying in bed with you all day long, lol.

I have no idea, am on the opposite side of the world, but is there other things around disney that are more couplesy. Like go to Disney world one day with the family and then go do some other activities a different day. Maybe arrive a few days early or leave a few days after the family are gone?

you could plan a few intimate dinners, stay in a nicer hotel, sleep in, get massages etc. that’s my idea of a honeymoon, doesn’t really matter where in te world it’s done.

How about joining for the family reunion for 1-2 days then go on a cruise on your own. There’s lots of ports near the Long Beach area (if you’re going to Disneyland) or Orlando area (for Disneyworld)

@ImHungry247:  The cruise is a good idea

I was going to suggest going early or staying late and not being there for the whole reunion
