No. Especially if I would only wear once! I’d rather buy something more valuable. If I would wear it more than once I might feel like it was money well invested. If they are not comfy and no one will see it, no use for me.

If you can afford them, if the money couldn’t be better spent elsewhere (or you’ll regret not spending it elsewhere) AND you accept that you’ll almost certainly never wear them again then buy them.  I wouldn’t pay that much for a pair of shoes and certainly not for one day when they’ll most likely be hidden by a wedding dress and I can certainly think of things that I’d much rather spend the money but for sure, I’d not blame anyone who did.

It’s all down to your personal circumstances. For some people a pair of Jimmy Choos would be utter madness to make a financial sacrifice for. For others it’s a little extravagance worth indulging in.

If you’re considering Jimmy Choos, I assume you wear heels a lot, which means you’ll get a lot of use out of them.

If my assumption is wrong, I still see nothing wrong with buying them as long as you’re prepared to spend a lot of money on a pair of shoes you’ll wear once (or only a handful of times).

I wear heels at work every day.  I rarely go shoe-shopping and I buy cheap clearance shoes when I buy them.  My shoes right now are seriously busted-looking.  Next time I go buy a pair of work shoes, they are going to be NICE and EXPENSIVE but they’ll look great for years.  Totally worthwhile investment in my opinion!

Treat yo self!
