I personally have a hard time mentally getting into a weight loss routine. If you think trying on the dress & it being tight & too small will get your butt in gear to actually get back to the size you were when you bought it, then go for it! If you think you’ll get depressed and have dress regret bc it doesnt fit anymore, then dont. You know yourself enough to know how you’ll react if it is indeed too small now. But shoot, you never know. it could still fit perfectly! personally, i’d put it on, whether the outcome would be putting my mind at ease, or giving me a kick in the butt to start eating better and exercising more.

I would try it on, the sooner you do the more time you have to come up with a solution if it does not fit. If it does fit, it’s one less thing to worry about and then you know you can just maintain your weight.  I’d rather know than have to worry about it.  Even if it doesn’t fit I’m sure they can alter it! Good luck.

Definitely try it on, you’d have an easier time shifting the weight if you started now instead of trying to crash diet in july. My .02

I thought it was at the bridal shop or something so it would be difficult to try it on but if it’s just in your closet… of course you should try it on to see if it fits.

navzkore:  agreed.  just eat better & workout more and then you wont have to worry.
