I think yes. Best way to know is if you can try yours net to them (store sample if bridal store). I have lace and my girls are wearing cotton dresses. They actually don’t really match my dress at all, but they look super cute on the girls and they love them, so I’m happy!

Now that you mention it, I think chiffon would look great with your lace dress! Geez, I didn’t even take this into consideration when we got our dresses Surprised My dress is lace with a lot of beading and my bridesmaids got satin dresses… uh-oh!!! Undecided

My suggestion on the shopping trip is this:  rig it!

Go beforehand with just one or two people (whose sense of fashion you like), and narrow the selection down to 5-7 dresses for your girls to try on.

It sets the tone that YOU are still the final say on what goes on, and it keeps you from having to shoot down a bridesmaid’s selection that you completely hate.  They’re restricted to trying on the ones you already know you like, that come in the color(s) you want.

Have fun!

I think Chiffon would look great next to lace! Important to stand your ground when you’re shopping with your bridesmaids – girls have a lot of opinions and sometimes it’s hard to remember what YOU think! πŸ™‚
