I’d love to hear your opinions on my hair dilemma! I have a very wide, square face and have found the best hairstyle for me to disguise it somewhat is, worn long, curly and draped in my face (which is thankfully the natural state of my hair).
However as my wedding is approaching I’m wondering how I could style it so that it looks more formal and less “everyday-ish”. I definitely don’t want an “updo” because of the aforementioned face shape issue.
Does anyone have any ideas? I’m including a similar hair photo to mine for reference.
Thanks ladies! 🙂

@slicey19: Now that’s an idea I never thought of! 😀 Thanks! I’ll have to try it myself. I’m a little weary of having one side of my jaw exposed that much but I suppose dangly earrings might help some.

How about down but curled into ringlets? Curly hair holds curled hair very well!
Or you could do the one side like the poster above mentioned, if you feel self conscious about the unexposed side you could leave out a ringlet and add a flower by your ear. something similar to this :

@Anniebo: That’s it! That’s the one! Thanks! 😀 I’ll hide the jaw exposed with a flower. Thanks both of you for your help! I’ll be back to post pics of the trial. Thanks again 🙂

I got married in August and the most stressfull issue was my hair as i have very naturally curly wild hair! I, the same as you, didn`t want to wear it just down as I felt it would be boring. I visited so many hairdressers and spent so much money just to be dissapointed. in the end i wore it down, it took me ten minutes, my husband loved it and I knew exactly how my hair would behave. I think go for it-you know what suits you and how you feel happy! good luck!
