Advice for DIY Wedding Cake from any baker bees

You’ll have to keep us updated! I’m no pastry chef, simply an avid baker, and for me the little frosting rosettes are the easiet to make! Definitely still practice but with that design, I believe it will doable for you! 🙂

DancinDarlin :  I’m not a professional or anything, but I have made several cakes with nice-looking decorations–I’ve made several intricate graduation cakes for family and friends with fondant decorations. And my biggest tip is to practice at least once (or more) beforehand!

I did not DIY my own cake, but I DIY’d other things that were not perishable. My only advice is that if you’re going to DIY something like this, don’t take a whole lot more DIY projects on your plate. The two weeks before my wedding, I was barely sleeping and eating and came down with laryngitis twice because things were so crazy (there are just alot of things that come up at the end that you don’t think about).
