@Firemansgirl:  If it is closer to 2:00pm, I would do light appetizers and some kind of dessert (cupcakes, brownies, cookies). Most people wouldn’t wait that late to eat lunch, unless you told them ahead of time there is a full meal.

If you go the full meal route, I would recommend bumping up the time up to 12:30 or 1:00pm at the latest.

I think finger foods are perfect. Then it is more like a tea party (don’t even need tea for this, but out will be in that style.) I don’t think a meal is necessary

I agree with the other comments if it doesn’t start at 2pm then it’s better to have tea party style finger foods, that’s what I’m doing for mine the food is looking so cute and going to be delicious plus I have heaps of variety this way
