I start my first day of work tomorrow in an Aged Care Facility. This morning my six year old has woken up with pretty bad diarrhoea. I’m not sure what exactly is wrong, she isn’t vomiting, seems fine otherwise. She does have Noonan Syndrome which frequently affects her bowels to both extremes, so this isn’t uncommon.
What I was wondering is, if I am still feeling fine tomorrow and not displaying any symptoms, can I still go to my first day? I was wondering if it is a bug, maybe I could be a carrier although unaffected? I know that any gastro outbreak in a facility is potentially deadly to residents.
Maybe I’m being over cautious?
