Okay, I’m probably doing too much here, but I really want an opportunity to hear from my guests as far as advice goes but I can’t figure out the best way to do it! I’m thinking an option where there is something on each of the tables would be more likely to get everyone to participate, but I dont’ know what! I’ve seen the mad libs, not crazy about that. Just pages of paper seem too simple…we are already doing a photo guestbook, we have a photo booth to which I could add a chalk board prop, but I worry not everyone will do it!
I’ve seen rocks, puzzle pieces, wine bottles (which I kind of like the wine bottle idea, but it seems like it would be difficult to read and we have thirty tables, thats ALOT of wine for just the two of us to drink! LOL!) I have been pinteresting all day! Any thoughts?

I’ve always thought the ‘date night jar’ was a cute idea. You get a mason jar and have your guests write on tounge depressers some fun date night ideas!
Advice is fun to read once but you’ll never look at it again. Do something that you can use.

I’ve seen “Advice for the Bride & Groom” coaster that people can write on. You could have them at the tables or at the bar. I’ve also seen pretty journals on each table with a cute note attached to the cover, so guests know to write advice/messages to the bride and groom. Good luck. I think it is a fun idea.

We had some nice postcard-size cards printed up from VistaPrint and set them on the dining tables with enough pens for everyone. Toward the end of dinner we had our DJ ask everyone to write their wishes for us on the cards (but you could ask for advice too) and the MoH and Best man collected them as everyone went into the other room for dancing. We actually put ours inside our wine box so we won’t get to read them for a few years yet!
A friend who got engaged just before our wedding is copying our idea 🙂 She loved it!
