My SO is 1.5 inches taller than me, but always wears cowboy boots, which make him a couple inches taller.  Is your guy a boot guy? I can’t imagine my SO doing anything “fancy” in anything other than dress boots.  And I’ll probably go barefoot or flip flops, so we’re set on heights for photos. When cowboys and hippies get married haha ๐Ÿ˜‰

I really don’t see the problem at all. My Fiance is about 1/4″ shorter than I am. When I’m in heels he’s much shorter. Who cares? I feel like this should be a non-issue.

2ndchance:  I’m about 2 inches taller than my Fiance. I’m not thrilled about that height difference either but I just remind myself that I’m not marrying him for his height!

I’m about 4 inches taller than my fiance as is, without any heels, and no one that matters ever says anything. And I think we look pretty adorable in photos. I say you should wear whatever makes you feel great for the day, and not worry too much about the height difference. Your height has nothing to do with how much you love each other, or how great your relationship is!

annd2015:  Ummmmm… just commenting to say you’re stunning!!

My friend is like 5″8′ and he normally wears work boots with a bit of a heel to make himself taller. It’s not noticeable. But I definitely agree with others who say, do whatever HE feels comfortable with. If he doesn’t mind you being taller then rock it! That’s you!

My fiancé is taller than me by about 6″ but I’m still wearing some cute sparkly TOMs. I don’t like heels & just bc it’s your wedding day doesn’t mean you HAVE to wear them! Do what makes you comfortable!

How about a tailored western style boot? I doubt that many people will notice if you wear a sling back flat. I also have a pair of shoes that have about a half inch heel, but they look much higher.

Lokie85:  I’m 8″ taller and wore 2.5″ heels. Do you feel any better?! No-one gets to choose their height anymore than they get to choose their looks. Love is all that matters ๐Ÿ™‚

I bought Darling Husband hidden heel shoes. He tried inserts but didn’t like them these had the lifts built in and were comfy. I’m 5’10 and wore 3 inch heels he is 5’8 the shoes gave him an extra 3 inches. But I ended up bare foot all day because it was so hot and we were on grass so I wish i’d just gone for flats!!

PolkaDotBandit:  Cute wedding style. And I’d never have noticed you were the same height unless you mentioned it.
