I had a traveling professional and because she is a professional and knew how many people she had to do and in what time contraints she brought other people (she has a staff)

When you find the traveling person tell them what you need and see what the recommend. Most people who travel to you as a professsion will have both skills or a supporting employee to help.

I didnt do a trial because I was too far as well, however, this person also did a few of my friends weddings and I saw her work.

If you have never seen her work before in person and/or are really particular I would schedule a trial.

discuss with her booking an extra 30 minutes into the day-of to account for changes you want to make to your hair. Be sure to send her pictures of what you like and detail what you like about it ahead of time as well. Same goes for makeup. Always be sure to tell them if its not something you care for.

If you do a trial and dont like the results, tell her and let her try again right then.
