(Closed) Advice needed for wedding timeline

@Skittles131:  Where are the photos in the 2nd option? It seems to me it only saves an hour because there’s no time for photos.

Also I’m not a fan of a receiving line, but that’s up to you. I think it’s much better to go from table to table after dinner at the reception – you’re not really going to be dancing for 3-4 hours are you?

On option 2, are there still cocktails? I am not a fan of the recieving line either… 

I would do:

4 ceremony

5 cocktails/ pictures

6 dinner

it all goes so fast, so if it ends at 10 pm, I would have the ceremony at 3 (or the more traditional 3:30pm), then cocktail hour, then dinner – with photos during cocktail hour.  I think you’ll be glad that you have the extra celebratory time.  

Two hours for dinner is too long I think too.  I would I open up dancing after 1 hour.  That way guests that were first through the line will have something to do.
