Hi all!
My wedding is a year away, but I already 100% know what bridesmaids dresses I want. I was planning on waiting till 6 or so months before to order them, but the one I want is from Modcloth and I have 6 bridesmaids, and I’m really worried about the dress selling out. I know sometimes they get them back in stock (I’m an avid modcloth shopper), but sometimes they dont and I dont want to risk it. Plus I have a 10% off coupon that expires next month, and since I’m buying the dresses, that would help a lot. Should I go ahead and order them? I figured if their weight fluctuates, they have a year to get it altered or buy a new one if they can.
The dress in question, just for info 🙂 http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/refined-the-way-dress

If you know that dress will be flattering to your bridesmaids, you have their measurements , and you really want that dress, order now. I guarantee that dress will not be in stock next year.

You might as well go for it if you know you’re going to order them. On a side note, I wore that dress to a wedding last month, it’s cute.

Bridesmaid dressesgo out of stok so quickly! I’d get them now if you are 100% sure of everything including your colour! Those are beautiful and a good price! Go for it!

Going against the grain… i wouldnt order it.
6 bridesmaids? Thats alot of dresses to buy if someone gained or lost weight in the mean time.
also i had my dress picked out and changed my mind 5 months out. So you never know you might find one Better.

minniegrace: We ordered ours over a year out; one was moving to Australia and with different work arrangements, the only time we could order them was then. There were no issues; alterations wre done after the dresses came in (around 6 months before) and they fitted perfectly on the day.

Order them- if its what you want and the bridemaids like them why not, you’ll be more upset if you wait and find out they are out of stock.
I ordered bridemaid dresses and groomsmen vests a year out, they got their outfits before I got mine- now we all have the same pressure to stay the same size.

I am getting married in a year too, and I put no just because I feel like in this year someone could gain/lose a lot of weight (*cough* pregnant hahaha) and just in case you change your mind about the style. If you really really love them though then I guess go with it, but I wouldn’t. I don’t know haha, it’s really up to the bride
