I’m with ya!!  I just can’t do bare arms.  No matter what anyone else says I would be self-conscious.

    I’d keep the bolero simple.

I don’t have any advice because I HAVE to wear a bolero due to my church, and I am a bit bummed… but I gotta say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair!  You look gorgeous, and I personally think you should rock the bare arms.  🙂

I think either choice will be fine. Do whatever you are confortable with. I think you look great in your pic. (I also love your hair!)

Pretty dress and you look great just like that!  I voted for bare arms.

But, I also totally understand being self-conscious (not that you should be!) because I am too about my arms.  My issue with boleros and the like are that in a lot of cases, they add so much bulk to the shoulders that in covering up a body part you don’t like, you make yourself look like a football player, and interrupt the line of the dress you just dropped a bunch of money on, to boot.  I’d rather show off my bingo wings, personally!  I really think people will be taking you in as a beautiful whole – dress, veil, jewelry, bouquet, smile – not critiquing specific body parts!

That’s just my little pep talk, but there are a lot of gorgeous sheer options here:  http://www.jasminesbridalshop.com/index.php?task=productlist&classid=14

Since your dress has a sheer overlay, I think if you picked one of those with coordinating lace, it would be really pretty.

    I voted bare arms.

I mean who wants to mess with sleeves all night rocking out in front of only people who love you?!?!?!

i vote bolero, not because i don’t think you can rock the bare arms, but because i truly LOVE boleros!!

Do you like the lace look?  If not, even a sheer bolero would look very elegant.

I am super self-conscious about my bare arms in my strapless dress, I got a bolero from BHLDN (they have some gorgeous ones but they are pretty expensive) – this is mine the Primrose Bolero (I got it on sale, yay!)

There are also quite a lot of very nice ones on etsy for not too bad prices.

I think with your dress I could see something antiquey looking, like this (from etsy but kind of expensive!):

etsy has some beautiful hand made boleros and I think any simple bolero would look lovely with that dress, as long as it does not have too much going on to detract from the beautiful sparkels of your dress
