- Wedding: June 2014 - On a boat, touring the City Harbour and surrounding island area.
Hi Everyone,

I was looking to get some advice on tipping the Officiant. We have hired her through an Officiant Agency. It is a non-religious ceremony.

We are paying $330, taxes in for the Officiant. On top of that, we are paying her parking fee ($20) and the Water Taxi Fee (We are getting married on a boat, and wish to have her leave after the ceremony. Taxi fee is another $40). So, in total $390.

Do we still need to tip on top of covering her parking fee and water taxi fee or would a little favour gift (the same as our Guests are getting) be acceptable? I am not sure what is appropriate in the situation.

Thank you for any advice!
